site was created in 2003 by writer and broadcaster Clare McCann
as a guide to the jungle that is the noughties dating scene!
At the time, Clare was an outgoing
young singleton who had had more dates than most of us had had hot dinners and whilst conducting her research for this site she tried and tested every dating event you could
think of! 4 years on and Clare lives in Canada with her army officer husband who she met on a remote island in the South Atlantic. Unbelievably after all those events, she had to travel 8,000 miles from home to meet Mr Right, but she had fun in the process!
 And most importantly all that research wasn't wasted!
All that knowledge and experience has been put together in one place
and the result is the girl's guide to the UKs dating scene. What
to wear, where to go, what to say and who to avoid!
If
your dating experiences so far have consisted of the odd blind date
and accidental meetings with men in bars, its time to take control
and it isn't anywhere near as scary as you think. Dating is cool
(you might actually get addicted) and there's something for everyone
out there.In some cases you can date without even having to leave
