How does it work?

Sign up process involves selecting your personality type (cute, cool, charming, happy, sad, bitch, grumpy!) Then you make a load of choices about yourself and your ideal match. Everything from body shape, to hobbies, drinking habits and religious beliefs (although weirdly 'C of E' wasn't listed!) Then it's time to upload a photo and write your description, they even provide you with suggestions if you can't get started on what to write...

Once you have signed up, you can see a list of matches and read profiles, email people you are interested in or send flirts (a form of instant messaging) I had my first flirt within seconds of getting signed up and I was deluged with mails. Blinddater boys are keen! :-)

Who does it attract?

A really diverse bunch both culturally and socially.My first two 'flirts' were from Switzerland and Germany. Men are seeking everything from true love to one guy who was looking for "friendly females with an interest in adult themes"

What's different about it?

When you log into the site you get a free daily horoscope. Nice idea! You can also vote on the people you see.

Free to establish your first two contacts, then £9.95 a month, with deals on longer subscriptions

What makes it special?

Blinddater is packed with far more features than I have seen on any other dating site. As well as your daily horoscope, you also get a problem page, guest book, in depth features on selected members and something that claims to measure your biorythmn! You can even choose the type of frame to have round your photo and if you have a special type of mouse it vibrates...don't ask!

What's the down side?

If you are looking for a simple site you might find this a bit over the top. It's easy to get lost amongst the pletharo of features

Any tricks I need to know?

Just keep an eye on the clock! So many features, so many potential dates...the time will fly by!
