What is it?

Gorgeous Networks is the creme da la creme of dating companies, you have to be Gorgeous to join (although this is loosely translated as a complete package, you can be slightly lacking on the looks as long as you sparkle with personality). GGT run a dating website and give members the opportunity to attend their own events (including their brilliant member hosted dinner parties) and to join those run by selected dating companies.

How does it work?

Gorgeous have moved away from the London based speed dating events that they used to hold and are now concentrating their efforts on their dating website.

New members are voted in by current members who get to view their photo and profile for several days before a decision is made. It's great fun seeing how the voting goes and it ensures that the quality of singles on the site remains high.

Members get access to the Gorgeous Online dating service – exclusively for those deemed gorgeous, where you can send and receive unlimited messages for duration of your membership. Membership also gets you a range of member benefits and discounts and invites to all Gorgeous events (additional charges)

Who does it attract?

GGT daters come from the better earning end of the dating spectrum, typically this is the place you'll find the managers and directors of the business world and the media babes of the west end. Their average age of members is 32, but broadly members range from mid 20s to mid 40s.

What's different about it?

Gorgeous specialise in quality not quantity. Although they don't offer you anywhere near the quantity of men that some of the other dating companies do I've met far more eligible men through them than with any other dating website.

£30 a month or £200 for life membership

What makes it special?

If ever there was a dating company that lacked any feeling of embarrassment or desperation about it, this is it. This is the website for the beautiful people! Gorgeous historically have never advertised and so there always remains a feeling of having stumbled on one of the sexiest and most exclusive dating websites in the world.

What's the down side?

Gorgeous used to run their own dating events which meant a guarantee you would only meet 'gorgeous' people on a night out, now they offer access to a huge range of dating events often run by outside companies so the make-up of singletons is mixed.

Any tricks I need to know?

Cold calling action on the website is limited, get out and met the members at one of the member hosted functions and use the site to follow up any meetings
